Drum Notes for 1/22

Cross-Sticking is a method where you hit the rim of your snare to make a unique sound.

A sixteenth noth triplet is played with 6 hits to various parts of the drum kit

Note Value Exercise
Continuous hit-hat (open, close) + bass eigth notes to keep time. Start on snare with quarter notes building the 32nd notes.

Several factors determine the sound of drums inckuding type, shape, construction, and type of heads used. The drum head is the most important factor when it comes to the sound of you drums.
